Shonda Fulton is a therapist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy, and maintains a private practice, Serenity Ivy Counseling PLLC, located in Charlotte, North Carolina.
My passion to assist individuals to become their true and authentic self. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of North Carolina. I have been working as a therapist for the past 7 years. I have experience working with children, families and adults with mental health and substance use issues. My client’s mental health needs range from depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, substance use/abuse, relationship issues, LGBTQ, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, suicidal ideation and parent-child relationship issues.
My desire is to foster healing and growth within each individual, family and couple I work with. I believe that in order to make these changes, the client and I will need to look at the complete picture of their life, taking a more holistic approach. I like to draw on their strengths in order to help implement change. I want to help my clients move beyond the troubles and stressors they have experienced in their lives and help them move towards a life worth living.
